So you have an Apple 16/600PS B&W laser printer...

And it came from a surplus auction...

And you want to change the subnet or netmask and the PC util won't...

Or you just want to be able to configure the thing without a PC/MAC...

But you don't know the password...

And you searched google and found nothing...



Luckily I found something in Italian, and it worked!

Get the PC utility (or Mac utility), or check your arp cache for the printer's MAC address. This should look like 08:00:07:04:37:30.

Now telnet to the printer, and you can log in using the pass "LW043730"

It is LW + the last 6 digits (3 bytes) of the MAC address.
