CobraNet version 2.9.13.x The primary benefits of version 2.9.13.x are its ability to offer increased stability on large network diameters, primariliy when operating in low-latency mode. This is a concern when running long fiber runs or when end-to-end spans require beat packet and/or audio packet propagation through several switch hops. Additional stability concerns have also been addressed when operating in low-latency mode on samller networks and robustness in the presence of non-CobraNet services such as QSControl. 2.9.13.x adds some additional reporting features as well. This includes new conductor management, IP monitor, hardware and SSI audio format variables. 2.9.13.x now provides support for IP broadcast messages, which may be of benefit to third-party control interfaces or a DHCP service. QSC's CobraNet Version 2.9.13.1 This is QSC build #1 and is the RAVE production release in support of low-latency operation at 2 2/3 ms. Version 2.9.13.1 offers full configuration and monitoring via SNMP. This release ships standard in the default latency mode of 5 1/3 ms. Outbound audio on all transmitters is defaulted to 20-bit resolution. Management access via the network is optimized and serial bridging capability is enabled. All standard RAVE features are included. Version 2.9.13.1 may be operated on either network repeater or network switch LAN configurations in the 5 1/3 ms latency mode. Low-latency operation at 2 2/3 ms, which must be configured via SNMP, is only supported on network switch topologies. 2.9.13.1 is model-specific and includes appropriate access, through the front-panel rotary encoders and/or an SNMP-capable application, to audio loopback and/or audio channel duplication features as supported. Transmitter service to multiple unicast receivers is not supported. QSC's CobraNet Version 2.9.13.2 This is QSC build #2 and is a RAVE convenience release in support of low-latency operation at 2 2/3 ms. Version 2.9.13.2 offers fixed low-latency operation. This release allows users to take advantage of low-latency operation without the need for SNMP configuration. Version 2.9.13.2 offers full SNMP configuration and monitoring management with the exception of latency control. Latency is read-only. Version 2.9.13.2 offers pre-configured 24-bit audio resolution on RAVE 188s24 and RAVE 161s24 transmitters. Management access via the network is optimized and serial bridging, audio loopback and audio channel duplication capabilities are disabled. All remaining standard RAVE features are included. Version 2.9.13.2 may only be operated on network switch LAN configurations. Version 2.9.13.2 reports the MIB II system description (sysDescr) with "2x" following the model name, indicating that the RAVE is operating at twice the standard audio packet distribution rate.
